My time hop popped up yesterday and I was so sad for my former self and all the moms that I KNOW are still out there struggling! I was 2 C-sections in, finally over my postpartum depression and ready to work on myself again! 15 weeks in I was working out 6 days a week a combo of spin class, trainer sessions and lifting weights plus eating healthy. I had only lost 2 lbs and I was beyond frustrated thinking I would never change.
I thought I was going to have to accept this new mommy body that gave me 2 beautiful babies and my husband loved me so it enough right!? It wasn't for me... after a trip to the beach with my husband I came to grips with the changes I needed to make because I was unhappy with me and it was time for a change!
After all the struggles I finally found what works for me and I now pass that on to other moms just like me looking for something! Something manageable with kids because we are busy! Something that does not make me feel deprived!
